A Love Affair with History
Each creation at Glories of the Past is more than furniture - it’s a revival of beauty, history, and craftsmanship.
Beginning with a deep respect for the story of each piece - a hint of Art Deco, a touch of French Empire, or a whisper of Jacobean craftsmanship - I enhance those origins rather than erase them, using deep pigments, gilding, and wax finishes to bring out their innate drama. The result is timeless furniture that feels as if it has always belonged in candlelight and castles - yet sits beautifully in modern spaces, too.
Each piece I choose retells its history - sometimes humble, sometimes grand. I don't erase time; I enhance it.
